December 2019

Time to Party!

We enjoyed some yummy food to include an amazing ham. Of course there were great deserts too!

Here is our show and tell time:

These are some amazing quilts ladies! I have GOT to get busy! lol

We also had some dirty Santa fun. We each made a Christmas stocking and put some goodies in them:

This one was very interesting! šŸ˜‚

I actually think this ☝ is a cute idea for a stocking

All so unique and fun!

Who knew we had an artist among us? Faye this is beautiful and I'm glad to be the owner of it!

We were gifted this cute Baby Lock and bag. Thank you to Diane for attending Ruth's and getting this for us!! What an amazing gift for our guild and all the guilds that received one. Ruth's is so generous!!

We ended our day by sewing a bunch of HST's into blocks to get our charity quilt going. Be looking for pics of that in the new year.

Happy new year and may 2020 bring you lots of fun projects and very little use of your seam rippers! šŸ˜„

November 2019

Happy Fall Y'all!

We really had SO much fun at this meeting! I don't think that I have laughed that much in a long time!! :)  We have a lot going on for the new year so we hope to see everyone at the next meeting. Don't miss out on the fun!

There was no block lottery this month, but we will have one presented at the December meeting for January. Also, we are doing a "dirty" Santa swap in December. Please make a stocking at least 6x12 and put some goodies in it, limit of $10.00 (or more if you feel inclined. lol)

It's renewal time! Don't forget to sign back up at the December meeting.

We had a silent auction. Okay, a not so silent auction at the meeting.  You know we love a little competition. Some of us got some Christmas shopping done early!

We will also be working on the Hospice quilt for 2020 during the sit and sew in December. All you need to bring is your sewing machine. Blocks will be provided. Lets get this done!

Here are the show and tell items we had:

Someone was very busy!

SO gorgeous!!

Natalie finished her table runner from the quick curve ruler class we had. How fun is this!!

Once again, Laraine brought in some awesome items that she had been working on. I NEED these oven mitts in my life! I must find the kit! šŸ˜

Another item finished using the quick curve ruler. LOVE this!

Be checking Facebook for what donations we will need for the church this month. But really, anything helps.

Hope to see everyone there!

Happy October!

What a fun prize above. Lots of treats to be had. Good thing there were no tricks in this cute bucket!

Door Prizes are Awesome!
