April = Quarantine = Sewing!

May 2020

Hi everyone! We had a zoom meeting and it was so good to see you ladies! We have lots of good things coming up and hopefully we will be able to do them in person. For the next several meetings, we will be doing bagged lunches. There will be no need to bring food to share. I know that we love to share, but we will have to wait a little longer. ;) Below are some of the fun things everyone has been working on:

Diane was busy making pouches

Natalie was busy playing with blocks

Sally made adorable kids aprons

Here are the last 3 Months Block Lottery Blocks

Laraine presented Staggered Stripes. Kona white background with black solid or print

Maureen presented the Shadow Block

Diane presented improve blocks

Sally showed us her beautiful quilt in the Mexican Star pattern that she made for a co-worker

Most of it was straight line quilted. Beautiful!!

And of course, lots of us have been busy making masks. I for one can not wait for this Covid-19 to be gone so we can all get together again. Even through all this, we have obviously been busy ladies!

We are looking tentatively at meeting in June with precautions in place. That will be a great meeting for show and tell!!
