We want to see you all come out on Saturday, August 12th for our August meeting. We do have a new meeting place for this one meeting. We will be meeting at Antioch Baptist Church. The address is 4824 Antioch Road, Crestview, FL. It is on the same road as Margie's if you have visited there. We will have plenty of table space, good lighting, plugs. Just bring extension cords and your sewing supplies. Our potluck is anything cool and simple. Since August is our hottest month, we thought easy finger foods and cool salads sounded good. We will be working on the Arc Gateway Christmas Charity quilt during sit and sew. Our program includes Loree talking about name tags and Cindy presenting our Block Lottery. As always, there will be door prizes through out the meeting. So, plan to join us and beat the heat with a day of fun, food, fellowship, and learning! We begin at 10:00, with the board members arriving at 9:30 to set up.
Quilters, I need to add that we are also swapping our favorite scraps at this August meeting. A quart size bag of scraps will be swapped with a partner and suggestions can be made to your partner about what they could make for you. During our September Anniversary meeting, we will surprise our partner with a homemade gift made with some of their scraps!! Best meeting ever!!
