September 2019 Meeting

Anniversary Meeting

You just can't beat Publix's Chantilly cake.

So much happened and so much to share!

Great discussions, great food and prizes were enjoyed by all.

First off, Dress a Girl dresses are finished! Approximately 20-25 dresses were made. Thank you to all who sewed all these very important dresses and thank you Maureen for heading this up.  You ladies are amazing and so appreciated. <3

We had an Art Gallery Fabric Swap. Such beautiful selections we have to play with now:

Our Auction is coming up. Dates are November 15th through November 24.

The Kona splash sewing machine cover challenge is due next month. I can't wait to see these!

Our door prizes were several bundles of the below fabric:

The September Block Lottery blocks:

Well done ladies!

Here is the October block for Block Lottery:

It is called Wall Block by Carolina Oneto and can be found on the Modern Quilt Guild web site as the March 2019 block study.
 It is so versatile!!

For Anniversary fun, we played BINGO!

These were the bingo prizes with the basket full of goodies being the grand prize!

Show and tell time:

Lauren had a lingerie bridal shower in Philly. Very cool!

For the October meeting, we will have a Quick Curve ruler class making a Pumpkin table runner. It will be given by Michelle Stewart. I can't wait for this class. $10 for our guild members.

Like I said, we were busy!! Whew!

We are already planning for our December dirty Santa swap so be ready!
